FEBRUARY - The Month of Love and Leadership

Fires, floods, hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes, war, worldwide pandemics, and financial upheaval – we’re still here!

While we celebrate two of our early presidents (Washington and Lincoln) in February, we also honor the love of leaders in the many areas of our lives.

• TEACHERS
• COACHES
• HOUSE OF WORSHIP CLERGY
• VOLUNTEER LEADERS
• TRAINERS
• COLLEGE ADMINISTRATORS
• MEDICAL SUPERVISORS
• And so many more …

These leaders guide the success of our future generations. Without their loving, tireless efforts, the caliber of these “Representatives of Our Future” would diminish.

We also think of February as the time to share love with our significant other with candy, flowers, and Valentine's sentiments. Commercialism aside, there are many kinds of love to be honored and shared:

• PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS
• CHILDREN
• SIBLINGS
• FRIENDS
• NEIGHBORS
• CO-WORKERS
• CONGREGANTS

The people in our lives need to know that we care. We want to honor them, show our appreciation, and celebrate with them.

On the fourth Thursday of November, families and friends gather together to give thanks for their blessings. Watch for future blogs regarding Thankful Thursdays. These are presented during the year From The Corner Home Office highlighting additional reasons to honor, love, and give thanks.
