On Labor Day, we honor the vast working force still serving our daily needs.
These diligent members of the labor force assist us daily in our many walks of life. The abundance with which many Americans are blessed directly depends upon the daily efforts of hard-working individuals across our land.
On this Labor Day, take time to thank the many people in your life providing these services.
Labor Day is a time to have a picnic, barbeque, yard party, or day in the park to celebrate the good provided by our working force. For those of us who are part of that force, we celebrate ourselves and our co-workers.
It is not only important to celebrate our workers. It is also important to let young people learn how much we depend upon these workers who should be appreciated and respected. They should not be taken for granted.
Although many technological advances have been made, many activities continue as they have for generations. Young people should not only know and understand the advances but also learn those things
that we still need.
"I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.” — Thomas Jefferson
